Blog Ideas

Hello.

Today I wanted to talk about 5 things I want to post more of on my blog this year!

Personal Posts
Even though my blog is centred around beauty & fashion, I really love the idea of connecting with people through my own personal stories. I have loads of things to talk about, and hopefully I'll be able to post a few more personal things on my blog this year.

Beauty Reviews
I'm hoping to pick up loads of new items this year, and I'm going to try really hard to review them all for you, because I hardly ever buy things without reading reviews first!

Days Out
I'm hoping this one will motivate me to go out more, as I love the idea of showing you all some pictures from a good day out.

School Posts (they will be interesting I promise)
For those of you who don't know what I mean, I'd really like to post some tips that would help people my age in getting through school, like organisation tips and stuff like that!

Motivational Posts
I really like the idea of making someone feel more inspired, and I really want to sort out some motivational posts that will make people feel good!

What posts do you want to see this year?

MAC // Brand Review

Hello.

As I've said in a few posts, MAC is probably my favourite makeup brand, so I wanted to go through all the MAC products I have and tell you a bit about them!

Lipsticks
£15.50

I am absolutely in love with MAC lipsticks. The ones here are Angel, Please Me & Fanfare. The colour range is amazing, and they're really pigmented and creamy.

Blush
£18

The blush I have is in the colour Fleur Power, and I'm obsessed with it. The colour is gorgeous and it goes on so nicely. I think it's definitely worth the money.

Concealer
Truthfully, I'm not sure about MAC concealers. I feel as though they try so hard with their eye and lip colours that face products are somewhat neglected. I'm not sure which colour this one is, but I'm not a huge fan of it, and would only ever use it under my eyes.

Pigments
I have no idea what colours these pigments are, but I really like them. The only thing I don't like is the slight shimmer, but I suppose that's what separates them from the eyeshadows.

Eye Shadows
All I know of these colours is that the first one is Naked Lunch, and the one at the bottom on its own is Mystery. I am in love with MAC eyeshadows, and I even rate them better than my Naked Palette. They go on so well, and stay all day, and I'd recommend them to anyone.

Favourite High End Makeup Products

Hello.

I do buy a lot of drugstore makeup, because as a 15 year old girl, I don't have the money to buy all my makeup from high end makeup brands. But I do have my fair share of fancy makeup products, and I wanted to pick out my 5 favourites and show you.

Vichy Dermablend Foundation
£16

MAC Lipstick in 'Fanfare'
£15.50

Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish
£14 (I think?)

Naked Basics 2
£22

Naked 3
£37

What's your favourite high end makeup product?

January Sales Haul // River Island, MAC

Hello, & happy new year!

I got some lovely things for Christmas (I hope you did too), including some money, and as you guessed from the title of the post, I rushed off straight to Liverpool for some January sales shopping. I have to admit, I was a bit disappointed about the amount of things as I just find it too hard to part with money and have a strong objection to buying anything too expensive (the MAC products contradict that statement). However I did pick up 3 things that I wanted to show you.

Boots
River Island
£38

I went shopping with the clear intention of buying these shoes, as my sister has them, and I thought it would be nicer for her if I bought them for myself instead of stealing hers. They were £38, and unfortunately weren't in the sale, but they were far too gorgeous to just leave on the shelf. They have a slight heel so I'm still getting used to wearing them (and the noise they make), but I absolutely love them, and can't wait to try them with different outfits.

MAC

MAC was where the real damage was done, as I had a £40 gift card and didn't see the point in waiting to spend it, as MAC is my favourite brand. I've never had a MAC blusher before, because I've never really been much of a blusher girl. But I'm really excited to try it out and I'm expecting great things from it!
Blusher - Fleur Power
£18

The second thing I got was another lipstick. I absolutely love MAC lipsticks and my sister also picked up this colour so I wanted to try it out as well. At first glance, it looks exactly like my other 2 MAC lipsticks, but I promise you all 3 of them look different when they're on your lips!
Lipstick - Fanfare
£15.50

Did you pick anything up in the January Sales?
