Favourite Clothes Shops

Hello.

Although my blog is mainly beauty, and I'd pick makeup over clothes any day, I'm trying to get into fashion a bit more, so I wanted to share with you my 5 favourite clothes shops.

Boohoo
I absolutely love Boohoo, and every time I go on there I find a few things I want. It's also really affordable, delivery is cheap, and it never takes too long to arrive.

New Look
If you're looking for Summer clothes, New Look is the place to go every year. For the past few years, the majority of my Summer clothes have come from here, and I don't think it's too expensive either.

Primark
You can never really go wrong with Primark. I usually find some really nice Summery clothes here, and it's all so cheap that you can get loads.

River Island
Although I rarely buy from River Island because it's a little bit out of my price range, I always find things I like, and hopefully in a few months I'll have a few River Island items.

American Apparel
I wanted to add a more high end brand into my favourites, and I really like American Apparel. I love the hoodies, disco pants and some of the T shirts that they do.

MAC Palette vs Naked 3 Palette

Hello.

Urban Decay's Naked Palettes are a must-have for any makeup obsessive, and so are MAC eyeshadows. As I'm lucky enough to have Naked 3 and my own MAC palette, I thought I'd put them up against each other and tell you which I prefer.

Naked 3
£38
As you can see, Naked 3 is very expensive. The majority of people prefer this palette, as the colours are all really neutral, and can be worn with almost any look.

MAC Palette
Actual palette - £16
Eyeshadows - £10 each
As you can see, to fill this up completely, it would cost be about £160, which is quite scary. I'm expecting to be adding to this palette for years to come though, so the cost becomes a lot less daunting when you think of it that way.

Colours
In terms of colours, I absolutely love the Naked 3 palette. However, as MAC sells well over 100 colours, there's bound to be something for everyone. Although I prefer the colours in my Naked palette at the moment, I can always add new colours to my MAC palette, but I'm stuck with the ones I've chosen in Naked 3.

Pigmentation
MAC wins this one, no question. The only reason I don't think the Naked Palettes are worth the money is because you need loads to get a really nice look. A few touches of the MAC eyeshadows and you're finished.

Price
I'll have to give this one to my Naked Palette, as getting 12 colours in the palette means you're spending about £3 on every eyeshadow, whilst MAC eyeshadows are £10. If you're on a cheaper budget, you might be better off with the Naked Palette.

Overall, I'd have to choose my MAC palette, but I still absolutely love my Naked Palette, and I can definitely see why people would prefer it.

Do you own either of these? Which do you prefer?

Maybelline Baby Skin Primer // Review

Hello.

I don't usually use primers, but when I found the Maybelline Baby Skin Primer for a good price, I thought I'd try it out.

I absolutely love this. I can really tell a difference in my makeup when I wear this. It stays on for longer, and doesn't shift around my face as much. It makes my skin really smooth to apply makeup on, and I love it.

Price: £7.99

Favourite Makeup Brands

Hello.

As you may have guessed, I'm a huge makeup lover. Here's my top 5 makeup brands.

MAC
I got really into MAC last year, and started to build up my collection. I'm absolutely obsessed with the lipsticks, and I also really like the eyeshadows.

Rimmel
Before MAC, Rimmel was my favourite brand, and it's still my go-to drugstore makeup brand. I love the Wake Me Up foundation and concealer, and the Stay Matte powder. I also think the Kate Moss lipsticks are great.

Maybelline
I've recently started getting into Maybelline. I really love their lipsticks, and I'm a huge fan of the lash sensational mascara.

Real Techniques
Even though this isn't really a makeup brand, I absolutely love Real Techniques brushes, and there's very few makeup brush brands that I'd try other than these brushes. They last for ages, feel soft on your face, and they look really pretty on top of my makeup storage.

Urban Decay
The only Urban Decay items I own are Naked 3 and Naked 2 Basics, but I love them. I'm really desperate to try out some of their mascaras and foundations! Is there any that you'd recommend?
