Perfume Collection

Hello everyone!

Today I thought I'd share with you my perfume collection, as perfume is a thing that I seem to have collected a lot of.
(This is a very photo-heavy post, sorry!)

My first perfume is called Rare Blue. This was a present from my Mum, and she got it at some sort of show I think, since it's a cheap brand, and was about £10 for a whole set.
For such a low price, I actually think this is lovely. It has a very fresh smell, and I really like it.

My second perfume is also a knock-off one. It's called Heaven and smells really sweet and Summery.

My next perfume is definitely one of my favourites, and actually the second perfume I ever got, if you can call it a perfume. It's the Hollister Solana Beach Body Mist, and I'm absolutely obsessed with it. It smells really fruity and sweet, and it's only £11, which I think is a bargain for such an amazing fragrance.

I've also got the Hollister Crescent Bay Body Mist, which is also amazing. I love all of the Hollister fragrances, and I'm actually thinking of getting some more since mine are running quite low.

Next I have my 4 Victoria's Secret Body Mists. The first one is called Tease and it's definitely one of my favourites. I got them all in a set for $40, and I'm actually looking to get some more for Christmas because they smell amazing.

The next one I have is Heavenly. To me this just smells like holiday, and I absolutely love it.

The next Victoria's Secret one I have is Bombshell. This smells really fruity and sweet, and I love it.

The last body mist I have from Victoria's Secret is Very Sexy. My friends all say I smell like this perfume every day, despite it probably being my least favourite from the Victoria's Secret set. That being said, I do still really like it, and I'm glad I've got it. It's my least favourite because it's not got a very strong smell.

The first of my three 'fancy' perfumes, is Nude by Rihanna. I got a free sample of this at her concert last year, and loved it so much that I got it for Christmas. I've smelt some of the other Rihanna perfumes, and this is definitely the nicest in my opinion.

My second 'fancy' perfume is Our Moment by One Direction. This is the first of their three fragrances, and ever since I smelt it I knew I had to have it. It smells really light and Summery, and it's easily one of my favourite perfumes.

And lastly, my favourite perfume, which unfortunately also happens to be expensive, is Flash by Jimmy Choo. I got this for my birthday last year, and I'm in love with it. I don't know how to describe it other than it smells expensive, and I'd definitely recommend it to someone as a present for Christmas or birthdays.

And that's all the perfumes I have! I hope you enjoyed this post.

Top 5 Lipsticks

Hello.

One of the beauty products I seem to have acquired a lot of is lipsticks, and today I thought I'd show you my 5 favourites.

Revlon Colourburst Lip Butter - Berry Smoothie
This has been my go-to lipstick for a while now, because it's so easy to wear. It adds a pop of colour to your makeup without being too 'in your face' and for the price that it is, it's definitely worth the money.

MAC - Please Me
I got this in New York in April, and since then I've been obsessed with it. Like the Revlon lipstick, it's so easy to wear. I'd recommend this more in the Spring / Summer as it's quite a light colour, but I still think it could look nice now the weather's getting a bit colder.

Ted Baker Lipstick (The shade isn't on the lipstick)
I got this as part of a set, and it's definitely the best product in the set. It's such a gorgeous colour, and would look amazing in Autumn / Winter time.

Topshop Lip Butter - Lolly
The Topshop Lip Butters don't really give off too much colour, but in my collection of brighter shades, I like to have a lip product that isn't too pigmented.

Tanya Burr Lipgloss - Picnic in the Park
When I heard that Tanya was bringing out a range of lipglosses & nail varnishes, I just had to try them out. I picked one nail varnish and one lipgloss, and I chose Picnic in the Park. It's such a gorgeous colour and the quality is amazing for such a low price.

Thank you for reading this post! I hope you enjoyed it!

September Favourites // 2014

Hello everyone!

Today I wanted to share some of the things I've been loving throughout September. Even though the month isn't over yet, I was desperate to show you everything I've been obsessed with this month!

Beauty Favourites

The first beauty item I've been loving this month is the Vichy Dermablend Foundation. I got this on sale in Boots in the middle of August, and now that I'm coming to the end of the tube, I've started to fully appreciate just how good this product is. It gives amazing coverage without looking like you've put your makeup on with a shovel, and it's not too pricey either.

The second beauty item I've been obsessed with is the Aussie shampoo & conditioner. My Mum bought me the shampoo because I'd run out of my previous one, and I loved it so much that I had to go out and buy an Aussie conditioner. It's very rare that I love a shampoo, as I'm not really too picky about them, but I will definitely be repurchasing this one!

My next beauty favourite is a perfume. I've been loving the Victoria's Secret 'Noir Tease' perfume this month. I got this in April when I went away to New York for a week, and as a set of 4 for $40, I think the deal was amazing for such a good perfume.

My final beauty favourite is a lipstick; the Revlon Colourburst Lip Butter in the colour 'Berry Smoothie'. I've been completely in love with this colour for ages, and it's such good quality for such little money.

Music Favourites

My favourite artist at the moment has to be Hoodie Allen. He's an American rapper, but his music isn't stereotypical 'rap music'. His music is really up-beat and happy, and I'd honestly recommend his stuff to everyone. My personal favourite songs are Small Town, No Faith in Brooklyn, Lucky Man & Eighteen Cool.

My second music favourite is TRXYE, the new EP by Troye Sivan (my favourite human). It's got 5 songs on it, and I honestly can't pick my favourite because they're all so amazing. I'd definitely recommend listening to Happy Little Pill, the first single from the EP.

Internet Favourite

My favourite YouTuber this month has definitely been VelvetGh0st, aka Gabby. She comes across as a lovely person, and her moving out vlogs have been amazing. Her main channel videos are really interesting because of the way she talks to her subscribers like they're her friends, and she's quickly becoming one of my favourite YouTubers.

Thank you for reading this post, I hope you enjoyed it!

Favourite Places

Hello.

So, in my 14 (15 next month) years of living, I've been to a fair few places. Enough places to rack up a list of my top 5 places in the world.

New York, USA
Words can't even describe my obsession with New York City. I'd wanted to live there for a while before I went there on holiday in April, and it's without a doubt the best place I've ever been.

If I were to write out a list of everything to do in New York, I'd be able to write about 7 blog posts. My family and I did quite a lot of these things, and I was a bit disappointed by a few of them, but some of the must see things are definitely...
  • The Empire State Building at night
  • The Rockerfeller Centre (better in the day because you can see everything clearly)
  • Central Park (we were given an amazing tour of Central Park, I'd definitely recommend looking at www.cityroverwalks.com if you're planning a trip to New York)
  • Times Square at night
  • The 9/11 Memorial (with an amazing view of Freedom Tower)
(I'm planning to do a blog post about New York soon, so I'll include a lot more detail then)

London, England
I'd been to London once before when I was about 9, but the first time I properly visited the city was a few months ago, when my Dad and I went on the train from Liverpool for a day out. I'd never really thought much of London, but it's such an amazing city.

As I've only properly been once, I don't have a huge list of things to do, but some of the highlights of my day were...
  • Looking around the shops in Covent Garden
  • The London Big Bus Open Top Tours
  • Going up The Shard, the tallest building in the European Union
  • Harrods (especially the food department, I bought 7 macarons by accident)

Monaco, France
I visited Monaco on a family holiday when I was about 12, and even though I was a bit too young to fully understand the beauty of the city, looking back I can appreciate how amazing it was, and how lucky I am to have been there.

A few things I can remember from my holiday are...
  • Walking along the docks
  • The amazing beaches
  • Having a drink in the Café de Paris and watching all the fancy people arrive in their fancy cars with their fancy girlfriends

Liverpool, England
Even though it's a bit weird to include the city you live in, I honestly think I underestimate the beauty of Liverpool. When you get out of the crowded shops and onto the docks, it's such a lovely place.

Some of the things I've done to appreciate the city better are...
  • Going up the Liverpool Eye, which has an amazing view from the top
  • The Liverpool Maritime History Museum (it might be a kids thing I don't know, but it's so cool honestly)
  • Walking along the docks in all the harbour-side shops / cafés

Fuerteventura, Canary Islands
I went here when I was about 13, and it's probably one of my favourite holidays, and definitely my favourite 'beach break', as everything else on the list has been busy cities.

Unfortunately, I can't really come up with a 'to do' list for Fuerteventura, but I'd recommend trying out a lot of the beaches, since there's so many lovely ones.

Thank you for reading this post, I hope you enjoyed it, and I hope it's given you some things to do if you're anywhere near these places, or given you some new holiday ideas!

Hello

Hello.

Welcome to my blog. I've already tried this once, but it broke and I got angry and neglected it.

But I'm back (this time like actually back), with a new and hopefully improved blog for you all.

I'll be posting regularly now (Top 5 Tuesdays & A Wednesday 'Mid-Week Post' and Sunday Post), and I hope to make my posts a lot better in quality.

I hope you enjoy.
